New Drummer in Deadends!

Honeymilk is very happy to announce that Deadends has included Jonas Thire, drummer in former hardcore sluggers Amulet, as their steady supplier of beats harder than ever!

This is indeed a leap forward for the ambitious band as well as good news for the concert junkies, as Jonas has a long merit as a VERY potent rock drummer both touring internationally and nationally the last decade.

Deadends are of course stoked to get this magician onboard, and reports from the bands last 2 gigs in Sadnes/Kristiansand definitely points to some serious live action coming up! The band has included some cryptic road-movie from the tour on their myspace, make sure you check it out (who knows, they might have filmed just YOUR house) :-)

A new Era!

Honeymilk Records has been the subject to alot of reorganizing and restructuring the last 1-2 years, as some of you might have noticed. This new and more blog oriented webpage is part of this work, as we want to get in touch with all you people out there!

This also means some of the old dogs has left the ship, while some new has come aboard. Arnt and Per are now focusing on their festivals and clubs, but will still be helpful friends of the Honey-sphere. We will probably post more about their projects in our blog and news-sections in the time to come, as we strive to get the website up to full speed again! This work will probably take a few days.

New onboard is Bjorn, a 26 year old techie from the northern parts of Norway. He will be very important in the work to adapt to the music-biz of 2008!

As you will see in the future, we are adapting to a strategy that means a bigger international approach, and also a weaker focus on physical CDs. Our focus will mainly be on establishing a net-based product that our listeners will appreciate.

CDs will still be available, but our strongly biased hope is to focus on vinyl as the “physical” option in the future.

We are very interested in feedback from the dedicated listeners out there on how this could be done and what we could do better! Shoot!

Make sure you check out the ongoing campaign initiated by our inhouse anarchists Deadends, this is indeed some cool stuff!

The whole new record “Pulling the Punches” is now available as a free stream! The idea is that if all ya music lovers out there help spread the word to people you think could like the band, hopefully some of them will support the band) by buying the lossless and DRM-free downloads and/or order the CD! We support the band 100% in this decision as we have gotten this wild idea that actually listening to the wishes of the listeners could be time better spent than hiring lawyers! This is free, stainless rawk for all of you, hope you enjoy it! Make sure to spread the word or comment on the article if you have feedback about this. We still need to sort out what ideas works and which doesn’t, and noone else but you can tell us!

And you can give it away to all your friends too! Check out the campaign that could make the RIAA weep blood here!
